SHAY B. (@BShayB ) New ☆◕‿.◕☆Spotlight

ImageSharon Bond aka Shay B. grew up in the Bronx, N.Y. Her parents enrolled her at Vicki Sheers (at the age of 5) a tap dance school in the Parkchester section of the Bronx. There is where she began her journey in entertainment and performing arts, she attended tap dance school every Saturday for a few years while living in Carroll Gardens in the Bronx. At the age of 9 her family moved to another section of the Bronx (Castle Hill). Shay B then became a part of the Castle Hill community center performing arts class where she studied drama, dance, cultural dance etc. While most kids hung out in the park, or at the stores and got into trouble, Shay went to her performing arts class faithfully everyday after school. Along with her other classmates she has entered numerous shows, talent shows, fashion shows etc. While attending Castle Hill Community Center Shay WON 1st runner up to Little Miss Castle Hill in the early 90’s. Her hard work and dedication paid off and earned her a great reward, the award to achieve anything your heart desires. On various occasions her Dad “Mr. 007” would video tape Shay and her older sister singing, dancing and sometimes acting a fool. This constant entertainment the family shared lead shay to be comfortable performing around others and in front of the camera.

ImageHer natural knack and love of music has grown and developed since her attempt to form a girls group “DeJavue” failed years ago. She moved to further her own knowledge of music within herself and began writing her own material and trying to put her foot in the door one way or another. While pursuing and exploring her music she began going for casting calls and getting involved in various projects while networking. She played an extra in Nicole Kid man’s THE INTERPRETER and Will Smith’s FIRST LAST KISS that never aired. She performed on the same stage as THE PERSUADERS, MELISSA MORGAN, AND ISAAC HAYES for the show “SO YOU WANT TO BE A STAR ” hosted by Mr. Chris Curry in New York City. After being seen performing at Mr. Chris Curry’s shows, Shay was asked to perform in a play there after. Shay has also been asked to fashion numerous independent clothing lines such as IBI and UBU fashion, she also sung the commercial skit for MONEY WEAR an independent clothing line in affiliations with KEYBOARD MONEY MIKE, who produced her first song ever written by herself called “Can’t Get”. Sharon Bond aka Shay B. has been featured on many upcoming artist songs. Most notable, being the single “I NEED A” by the group OFFICIAL PHAM. This song lead to OFFICIAL PHAM earning a record deal with EMI Records. She likes to think of her music as being EXPRESSIBLE in her own way because THERE’S ONLY “ONE WAY” TO DO IT!!

ImageShay B’s debut video for “Do Me” (produced by SuperStar Marc for StarDust Muzic) is coming soon. Check out her second track “Cant’ Get” (produced by SuperStar Marc for StarDust Muzic) as well. Shay is currently recording her debut untitled album and making preparations to start doing shows locally and abroad.
