Ebony “Survival Story” Canion is no stranger to adversity.
On June 12, 2012 her strength and faith was tested more than ever before. She was intentionally hit by a car and dragged by the car for almost 200 feet, with her body folded underneath the vehicle . She sustained almost 30 life-threatening injuries.
The doctors told her family that she may be in a vegetative state, and may never even walk again. All from trying to stop and altercation that frightful night that would change her life forever. But God.
Ebony spent 4 months in the hospital and 2 months in a coma, and is still fighting to be independent. However she refuses to let anything stop her. During her recovery process Ebony managed to graduate college, write the award winning book Left For Dead, start a faith based Tshirt line “Survival Story Tees, share her story on The Word Network, and countless magazines and blogs, inspiring many people across the world.
Despite the many obstacles, Ebony will never be defeated she will survive. Infused with the intensity of a woman fighting for her life Ebony has a story of hope, heartbreak, and the love, and courage; that transforms a widow, rape victim, and domestic violence victim; from a victim to a survivor, from I won’t do woman to a indomitable woman.
